Why an Old RNGdle Two Pair Guide May Be Wrong

What changed

The original changelog records a logic fix for Two Pair and Contiguous Two Pair on August 21, 2026. It does not provide a full before-and-after algorithm there. We can therefore confirm a change happened, but cannot responsibly publish a complete historical counterexample from the changelog alone.

The current official Two Pair badge page, checked September 24, describes two distinct pairs of matching digits and lists Common, 377 EP and 26.6% probability. This is a condition for a badge. It is not the whole roll’s rarity; see EP and rarity.

How to use an older guide or tool

Check the guide’s last update and whether it links the current original badge page. A tool that reproduces a past badge list may still be useful as historical material, but its answer can differ from the live game after a rules change. We do not copy an external scoring implementation into this wiki or claim exact parity with the original game’s internal code.
